Rosa Parks Constance Baker Motley Inaugural Lecture
The "Rosa Parks Constance Baker Motley" Lecture Series will bring prominent attorneys, activists, and academics to Yale Law School to not only honor the lives of these distinguished African-Americans and their achievements, but also to highlight the work of current trailblazers. YBLSA envisions that these lectures will create a forum to set the agenda for addressing some of the most pressing issues facing African-Americans today. This year’s featured speaker was Professor Ronald S. Sullivan, Jr., who spoke, “On Representative Citizens.” The discussion focused on leadership roles in the democracy. The event also provided YBLSA with an opportunity to honor Professor Sullivan for his contributions to the Law School and greater New Haven community.
